What about simple sound territories? Just the black keys of a piano? Or even just the click of a pair of claves? How could these sounds be able to learn a new language in order to declare a territory of their own? – Welcome to "Claveland", and more...

Black Sonata

If you like Beethoven, you may know his "Waldstein" sonata for piano. While the whole first movement found a temporary home in a rocky sound territory, some of its motifs got lost in a magical forest hut that can only be opened with black keys.

02

White Sonata

Morphing happens when one figure transforms into anonther (remember fish morphing into birds by Escher?). This can also happen with musical figures and forms. In this Sonata, morphing happens actually all the time, and in every movement.

Claveland

Welcome to "Claveland" where various sound conversations are solely held by one clicking sound - maybe a kind of self-talk... Can music just be rhythm? I think so. Can music be without rhythm? I think so too. But maybe then we miss the talk and "watch" a sound painting instead?

Chromatic Sonata

Coming soon...

In the meantime, maybe you would like to know my Piano Games or my Piano Concerto?
