Thanks for visiting. Today (11.3.22) I finished the composition of the first movement of my string quartet which concludes now the whole cycle of four movements.
Here is a little summary of the quartet's evolvement.
Current project: String quartet - "The Emperor's Wardrobe", the first movement is now available.
I started this quartet with its second movement. Very soft noises beginning to develop toward a very expressive outbreak of harsh sounds until they are falling back again into almost inaudible sound movements of the instruments.
The forth movement movement tries to simulate human speech in some way (not directly, there is neither a transcript nor an intention to simulate the actual vocal bandwidth). But have a look to this nice demonstration and some more ideas around the piece.
The third movement carries a very wellknown subject with lots of variations. This movement lasts a bit longer, around 12 minutes or so. Some more information can be found here.
In the meantime...
Will be happy to hear from you. Maybe you found something interesting about my existing pieces in the "territories" you would like to tell? We have a Facebook group where we can freely interchange our ideas. You are welcome!
